Inaugural Drummer, Drummerboy and Drummer Bootblack contests will be ‘open contests’
(Nov 1, 2014) Toronto, ON — Contestant registration is now open for three fetish contests for gay men to be held during the inaugural Drummer North America (DNA) contest weekend, which will take place February 12–16, 2015 at the Flamingo Resort in St Petersburg, Florida.
The inaugural DNA contests will be open contests. For the 2015 contests only, qualifying contestants may directly enter the contests without a pre-qualifying DNA regional title.
The Drummer, Drummerboy and Drummer Bootblack 2015 contests are open to gay-identified, biological and trans men in the fetish/kink communities, age 21 and older, who are residents of Canada, the United States or Mexico.
DNA weekend will rekindle the Drummer tradition of self-identified masculinity. DNA contests are open to the broad spectrum of fetish identities celebrated by gay men — from rubber, uniforms, skinhead and leather, to sports kit, military, punk and more.
Additionally, to be eligible to compete for a DNA title, contestants may not hold a current title on the date of the North American contest (Feb 15, 2015), and must meet all other contestant qualifications and application requirements, including a criminal background check.
The complete list of contestant qualifications is detailed in the application form available for download at DrummerNA.com.
